Candy 4 maps noninvasive neural signals into coherent language — built for people who cannot speak.
Neuroscience · Communication · Africa
Verbal Health is Suncture’s new branch for the speechless and non-verbal — bringing brain-to-text closer to millions of Africans who deserve a softer, smarter way to be heard.
The gap
Millions live without reliable speech — after stroke, ALS, cerebral palsy, trauma, or developmental difference. Gesture systems help, but they are slow, exhausting, and often culturally mismatched.
Verbal Health exists so Africa is not an afterthought in brain–computer interfaces. We are building clinical-grade communication that feels human: playful enough to invite trust, rigorous enough for medicine, and open enough to stand on the shoulders of global neuroscience.
Proudly brought to you by Suncture — deep health technology, extended to the neural voice.
Our model
Candy 4 is Verbal Health’s next-generation brain-to-text system — trained for noninvasive signals, tuned for clinical safety, and designed so people who cannot speak can still compose full sentences with dignity.
Candy 4 maps noninvasive neural signals into coherent language — built for people who cannot speak.
Multilingual pathways, low-bandwidth clinics, and caregiver workflows that respect local care realities.
Consent-first recording, clinician oversight, and an interface playful enough to lower fear — serious enough for medicine.
Signal playground
A soft waveform for a hard problem — communication without surgery.
Showcase & open science
We build on breakthroughs in noninvasive decoding, including Meta FAIR and BCBL’s Brain2Qwerty lineage. Candy 4 is our contribution: clinical productization for the speechless, with Africa in the first mile — not the last.
